Share Your Light

The value of a sense of gratitude cannot be overstated.  For those who are swayed by statistics, it’s worth noting that many studies have demonstrated that gratitude is correlated with many health benefits.  Perhaps most compelling of all, however, is the conclusion to which simple logic leads us: the more we focus on that which is good in the world, the more we become aware that there is good in the world.  In the face of the rage-fueling information feeds that are so pervasive in the world today, that’s a truth that is often hard to remember.

In February 2024, ICRL began holding the “Share Your Light” series, a weekly one-hour session in which participants share something positive that happened to them in the past week.  We then transform those stories into visual art as a way of enabling that positivity to endure.  Further down on this page you can see the running archive of that art.

There are three ways of being involved in SYL.  The simplest is to simply relax for a moment, perhaps take a sip of tea, and enjoy the below art.  Better still, join us during the Saturday sessions.  The process is very simple:

  1. Register here for those Saturday sessions that work for you.  Each session in held from 11:00 am until noon (US east coast time).
  2. Join the session using the link that will be mailed to you after registration.
  3. Share (or not) as you wish.

And if you are ready for a challenge, participate in the…

ICRL/IONS Gratitude and PSI Study

We invite you to participate in an experiment to characterize additional benefits of gratitude.  We have partnered with the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS) to leverage the IONS Discovery Lab to assess whether an increased focus on gratitude can have a positive impact on our sense of interconnectedness, extending human capacities, creativity, transformation and well-being – and, of course, capabilities such as intuition, ESP, etc.

If you are interested in being involved, here is what you need to do:

  • Register to be a participant by sending an email to (sorry for having to put the email address in an image, but bot like to scrape email addresses from webpages).
  • You will receive a link to take a pre-survey that includes questions and sensitivity exercises, which will take perhaps 20-25 minutes to complete.
  • Register for and attend a minimum of eight SYL sessions over the course of 10 weeks.
  • You will be provided with another link to complete a post-survey of questions and exercises.

Since we are allowing participants to join according to their schedule, there isn’t yet a specific end date when the results of the study will be shared.  Instead, we will share the study findings once we have gathered sufficient statistics for analysis.

In the meantime, please check out the below archive of art that has come from the SYL sessions:
