Activities

Most ICRL activities are collaborations among its various members, guided by individual and collective interests that are consistent with the organization’s scholarly philosophy and purpose. These are pursued on a volunteer basis, with ICRL providing supervision and modest financial support, as appropriate. They fall into three general categories—basic research, educational outreach, and pragmatic applications—although there is often considerable overlap among these. More detailed descriptions of our active and anticipated projects are presented on the relevant Activities pages of this website, but the following brief synopsis will provide some indication of the range of our current interests:
