President's Note
I find that autumn calls me to reflect on the months that have been flowing past so quickly. Perhaps it is the land settling down as it prepares for winter restoration, or just that the each year feels a little shorter. Whatever the cause, I am struck by the gifts that 2024 has brought - joyful moments, a treasure trove of new friendships, and even some struggles that I like to think of (in my calmer moments) as learning opportunities. I invite you to take stock of what these past months have brought into your life, and maybe take a moment to see if there aren't a few of them that are... more than what they at first seem. |

A Philosopher's Journey, written by Dr. Neal Grossman (who you may recall as the author of The Spirit of Spinoza), provides a powerful-yet-accessible look at the philosophy of Idealism through conversation with some of the greatest thinkers in human history.

We are in the process of finalizing the details for our next two Consciousness Dialogue Retreats. The next will be held in Gainesville, Florida at the legendary Tigert-Barrow House (that is now part of the BIHS legacy) this coming spring, and we are expect to run the following one at the Pari Center in near Tuscany, Italy in fall of 2025. There is still a little time to preregister for a 20% discount...
