A Note of Passing

On Thursday, February 27th, a dear member of the ICRL family moved on to the next chapter of his overall story. While I did not have the privilege of knowing Antonion Giuditta well, only through a brief meeting in 2019, he was a dear friend of Bob and Brenda for many years, as well as the author/translator of one of ICRL's earliest publications: Mediumistic Phenomena: Observed in a Series of Sessions with Eusapia Palladino. Join me in wishing him buon viaggio, and perhaps take a moment to learn more about the interests and accomplishments of this beautiful soul at this website that was created in his honor.

NDEs and Living Not Near Death

Survivors of Near-Death Experiences (NDEs) relate the transformative power of their experiences, and also how words are insufficient to express the richness and depth of such moments. That should not, however, mean that others cannot benefit from the insights of those who have had them. On Saturday, May 3 at 1:00 pm EDT, ICRL's Jeff Dunne will be giving a presentation for the International Association for Near Death Studies that explores how what we know about NDEs can help all people to lead happier, more fulfilling lives.

Sacred Medicines, 2025

We are excited to announce that ICRL is one of the sponsors for Sacred Medicines, an indigenous-led conference, to be held online the last weekend of May, and organized by Sunflower Sutras and the UC Berkeley Center for the Science of Psychedelics. Sunflower Sutras, beyond comprising a group of absolutely amazing people, is a sister organization investigating topics of consciousness with a focus on indigenous perspectives. This online conference will feature six prominent Indigenous elders and healers from Latin America to discuss how psychedelic research and practices may integrate Indigenous Ways of Knowing in a reciprocal and decolonial manner.
